Theia is an openly AI astrologer. The short version: we collect only what the service needs, we sell nothing, we track nothing, and you can delete everything with one tap.

Account. When you sign in with Apple we receive an identifier and an email address (which may be Apple's private relay address). Used to keep your account and readings across devices.
Birth details. Your birth date, time (if known), and birthplace. Used for exactly one purpose: computing your astronomical chart. Your birthplace is converted to coordinates; we never access your device's location.
Conversations and readings. What you write to Theia and what she writes back, so your readings are kept and conversations can continue. You can mark memory items, edit them, or delete them — nothing becomes part of Theia's memory of you without your approval, and you can turn memory off entirely.
Device token (members). If you enable notifications, a push token so watch notes can reach you. Lock-screen alerts never contain the content of a note.
Usage counts. How many free messages you've used today (that's how the free tier works).
We do not collect: your device location, contacts, photos, browsing activity, or advertising identifiers. There are no ads and no trackers, and we never sell or share your personal data for marketing.
Your chart is computed on our servers, hosted in Frankfurt, Germany (Supabase). To write readings and answer you, we send the derived chart positions, your message, and the context you've approved to Anthropic (USA), whose Claude model generates Theia's words under our instructions. Per our agreement with Anthropic, API data is not used to train their models. Anthropic and Supabase act as our processors under appropriate data-transfer safeguards.
Your data is kept while your account exists. Settings → Delete account erases your profile, chart, conversations, memories, and tokens — immediately and permanently. Memory controls (view, edit, delete one, delete all) are free for everyone, always.
Access, correction, deletion, export, and objection — write to support@theia.myastrologerapp.com and we'll act promptly. Depending on where you live, local data-protection law may give you additional rights, which we honor.
Theia is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly process their data.
Theia offers reflection and entertainment. She is an AI, discloses it, and does not provide medical, legal, or financial advice. Please treat her readings accordingly.
We'll post any material changes here and date them. Continued use after a change means the updated policy applies.
